Swami Vivekananda introduced the Ancient Indian Wisdom to the West: Nikhil Yadav 

A one-day program titled “Bharat Parv” was organized at the Bharati College Auditorium, University of Delhi, on 3rd May 2024. The event was jointly hosted by Bharati College and YUVA (Bharati College Unit) to foster a deeper understanding of India’s heritage, culture, and prospects among the youth.

The inaugural session of the program, themed “Bharat Bodh,” commenced with an enlightening address by Shri Nikhil Yadav, Prant Yuva Pramukh of Vivekananda Kendra,

Uttar Prant. Shri Yadav emphasized the importance of historical awareness among the younger generation, highlighting that understanding our history roots us firmly and influences our future trajectory.
During his speech, Shri Nikhil Yadav underscored India’s historical legacy as the world’s oldest civilization and the largest democracy that has never engaged in aggressive conquests of other nations. He also acknowledged India’s spiritual heritage, which has shaped its global reputation, and noted India’s emergence as a major global economic power.
According to Shri Nikhil Yadav, Swami Vivekananda played a significant role in introducing the rich spiritual and cultural heritage of India to the West, which contributed to a greater understanding and appreciation of Indian philosophy and wisdom.
Moreover, Shri Nikhil Yadav expressed optimism about India’s post-independence achievements across various sectors and envisioned a prosperous future with strong leadership that could propel India into a developed nation status.

The “Bharat Parv” program saw enthusiastic participation, with approximately 500 students and faculty members from the University of Delhi in attendance. The event provided a platform for young minds to engage with India’s rich history, cultural ethos, and contemporary aspirations.
The program featured various activities and discussions aimed at deepening participants’ appreciation for India’s diverse heritage and encouraging dialogue on the nation’s future course.
