New Delhi, India: Poised to become Uttar Pradesh’s first scheduled airline, Shankh Air has taken a significant step forward in its launch preparations after receiving the No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Ministry of Civil Aviation. The NOC, endorsed by Union Minister for Civil Aviation, Shri Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu and Secretary Civil Aviation – Shri Vumlunmung Vualnam, paves the way for preparations for a scheduled airline launch.
Shankh Air aims to become Uttar Pradesh’s leading full-service airline, dedicated to providing memorable travel experiences with a focus on reliability, affordability and customer-centric services. With its major hub at Noida International Airport, Shankh Air plans to connect major cities of Uttar Pradesh, metros and other cities of the country and establish itself as a major source for regional connectivity and economic development.
The airline’s initial routes will include major destinations in Uttar Pradesh such as Lucknow, Varanasi and Gorakhpur as well as metros in the country such as Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai. Shankh Air is hoping to start operations by early next year with an emphasis on connectivity within the state to provide passengers with a seamless travel experience.
